I want to start off a (hopefully) weekly feature where I highlight an artist that I’m currently rocking as opposed to a single song. I think it’s good to look at a bigger picture now and then.

I got wind of Michael Mind from my buddy Zach. He posted the video for “Love’s Gonna Get You” on Twitter, and mentioned that he sometimes wishes he became a DJ instead of a mathematician. I’ve had this thought for a while, but Michael Mind’s beats definitely hammer it home.

His videos are, in my opinion, nothing really to shake a stick at, since they’re just the usual European electronica “random plot + almost nekked womens = success” video style, but his music really does rock. It’s good party music, since it has a stead beat, and predictable patter, but anyone that combines bass beats with “Blinded By The Light” is alright in my books.
