I’ve been struggling with how to write this post for a while…I really really love The Hood Internet. It’s beyond just a “This song is great!” kind of love…they’re seriously one of the top 5 groups I listen to on a regular basis for one distinct reason – they take songs I like, mix them with other songs I like, and create incredible things. They are one of the best mashup bands I have ever found. Period. And I love mashups.

I HIGHLY suggest checking out their site, viewable here, but I’ve got a few samples below for you to check out. They are all not actually posted by the original artist, so I have no idea how long they will last, but if they play, they are worth the listen. I still recommend checking out their website, as you can download the 4 mix-tapes they have, which are all acts of pure brilliance.

I don’t speak of many artists with such overwhelming respect, but I have a personal mix of about 20 of their songs that I listen to at least once a day. Sometimes more.
